NuBloom, for families with children under 12, is thrilled to share Sweet Return with our friends at NuRoots, another amazing community powered by JFedLA. NuRoots is L.A.’s home for curiosity, creativity, and connection, sparking relationships and experiences for young adults in their 20s and 30s, building vibrant community, and reimagining Jewish expression.

Profound encounters of wonder and reverence. Awe humbles us, connects us to something greater, invites presence, curiosity, transcendence. Expands our perspective. Deepens belonging. Mystery and magic, woven into life.

Sweet Return is NuBloom’s curated and collaborative journey through time and spirit — two weeks of experiences, connections, restoration, and new beginnings. An L.A. mosaic of creative partners and families with young children brings the festival to life.
A heart bursting
with possibility.
Open a pomegranate and you’ll find a universe of seeds, a treasure chest shimmering. Jewish tradition says each has 613, as many as mitzvot, the sacred commandments. Kindness, forgiveness, change. Life overflowing, meaning and blessing.
Teshuvah means to return, to look inward, to remember transformation is possible. Each other, ourselves. Stretching, growing, again and again.

The high holiday tradition invites us to symbolically cast into water our missteps and burdens from the past year and celebrate our capacity for change. A sweet release, a soulful reset, a cleaner slate, an open heart.
